The LRMI specification is a collection of properties to describe educational resources. It builds on the extensive vocabulary provided by Predominantly it uses properties of resources of type that were proposed to by the LRMI to describe the educational characteristics of learning resources. For some of these properties it uses the LRMI-created types and

The LRMI project looked for inspiration, ideas, and learnings from other projects with similar visions in furtherance of its goal of interoperating with other specifications. As much as possible, contributors on those works were invited to participate in LRMI specification development. We wish to acknowledge and thank these initiatives for informing our work:

A note on useRightsUrl: this property was not adopted by Subsequently adopted a property called license which encompasses the same functions as useRightsUrl (see below). The license property is likely to be more widely understood by consumers of mark-up than the LRMI useRightsUrl property.

accessibilityHazard Text A characteristic of the described resource that is physiologically dangerous to some users. Related to WCAG 2.0 guideline 2.3. (WebSchemas wiki lists possible values).
license Url or CreativeWork A license document that applies to this content, typically indicated by URL.


Alignment Object

An alignment object is an intangible item that describes an alignment between a learning resource and a node in an educational framework. AlignmentObject is a subtype of
